244 poor get financial support

RAJSHAHI, Mar 19 (BSS): A total of 244 poor and distressed people including 16 patients suffering from various chronic diseases like kidney complaint, liver cirrhosis, heart ailment, cancer and paralysis caused by stroke received financial support worth Tk 1.0 million.
Deputy Director Office of Department of Social Services (DSS) and District administration jointly organised the cheque distribution programme in the conference hall of deputy commissioner (DC) recently.
