63 houses come under power connections in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH, Dec 23 (BSS): Power connections have been given to 63 houses at Chilahati and Mandolpara villages under Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district.

Local MP (Panchagarh-2) Nurul Islam Sujan inaugurated the power connections at a function on the premises of one Mosharaf's house.

Speaking on the occasion, Sujan said it is quite impossible to build digital Bangladesh without electricity.

"In the past, we did not think that rural people would get electricity, but now it turns into reality. It is the contribution of the present government, which is working sincerely to build digital Bangladesh," he said.

Debiganj upazila chairman Md Hasnat Zaman Chowdhury and Tapriganj union council chairman Golam Rahman Sarker were, among others, present at the function.
