BGB recovers phensidyl in C'nawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, May 17 (BSS): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 528 bottles of contraband Indian phensidyl from frontier Nishipara Char area under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila in the early hours on Thursday.

Commanding officer of 9 battalion of BGB Lieutenant Colonel Sajjad Sarwar said, acting on a tip-off, a patrol team of BGB from Bakherali border out post raided the aforesaid area at around 4 am and saw a gang of 10/15 smugglers coming with bags on head.
