Construction of Sheikh Hasina Road going on in full swing in B’baria

BRAHMANBARIA, Dec 25: Construction of Sheikh Hasina Road under the Second Rural Transport Improvement Project (RTIP-2) of the Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) is going on in full swing under Sadar and Bijaynagar upazilas of the district.

Senior assistant engineer of LGED, Brahmanbaria, Md Abdur Razzak said, "We are trying to finish the work in the scheduled time. The bridge will reduce transport cost, increase trade and business and enhance marketing facilities of agricultural products."

Md Abul Kalam, inhabitant of Bijaynagar upazila said, "We are happy as the construction of the bridge has started." He expressed his gratitude to the authority concerned for construction the bridge.
