Miscreants stab man to death in Naogaon

NAOGAON, Feb 24 (BSS): A man was stabbed to death at Kirtipur Bazar in Sadar Upazila of the district on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Tozammel Hossain, 60, an inhabitant of Atitha village of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Naogaon Sadar Police Station Md Torikul Islam said a gang of miscreants stabbed Hossain in the area at about 10:30 am, leaving him seriously injured.

Locals whisked him off to Naogaon Sadar Hospital where on duty doctors declared him dead.

The reason behind the attack might be land dispute, the OC added.
