Natore road accident kills two

NATORE, Apr 10 (BSS): Two people including a woman were killed and 12 others injured in two separate road accident in the district on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Sifot Ali Sheikh, 65, an inhabitant in Sirajganj district and Rahela Begum, 70, hailed from Baraigram upazila in the district.

Police said cattle trader Sifot Ali died as a Nosimon plunged into a ditch in Ramaigachi area in Sadar upazila this noon.

Some 12 people were injured in this accident.

Besides, Rahela Begum died as a passenger bus crushed her in Shibpur area in Baraigachi upazila at around 11.00 am on the Natore-Bogura Highway, said Alim Sikder, Officer-in-Charge of Bonpara Highway Thana.

Bodies were sent to Natore Sadar Hospital.
