One dies from electrocution in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, Aug 21 (BSS): A man died after being electrocuted under Baniachang upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Islam Uddin, 21, hailed from Shorifkhani Mahollah under the upazila.

Local people said Islam came into contact with a live electric wire at his house in the morning.

Family members of the victim brought him to the Baniachang Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge of the Baniachang Police Station Rashed Mobarok confirmed the death.
