One dies in Jamalpur road crash

JAMALPUR, Mar 04 (BSS): A microbus driver was killed in a road accident in Madarganj upazila on Sunday night.

The victim was identified as Md Ruhul Amin, 40, son of late Mofij Uddin at village Baziterpara in Madarganj upazila of the district.

Police said the accident occurred when a microbus fell into the river as its driver lost control over the steering at around 10.00 pm.

Officer-in-charge, Madarganj Police Station, Md Rafiqul Islam said the driver died on the spot but the passengers were rescued.
