Pabna Press Club forms new body

PABNA, Mar 04: A new Executive Committee of Pabna Press Club was formed. In this connection, an election was held at the press club on Saturday. Earlier, annual general meeting was held on Friday night.

Prof. Shibojit Nag and Akhinoor Islam Remon have been re-elected president and general secretary respectively.

The other office-bearers are: Two vice president Akhtaruzzaman Akhter of Daily Jugantar and Kamal Ahammed Siddique of Sheersha News, GK Sadi of DeshTV (joint secretary), Naresh Madhu of The Daily Observer (finance secretary), Safi Islam of Daily Arthonity (sport secretary), Sarowar Ullash of Prothom Alo (social welfare secretary), Chifat Rahman Sanam of Jamuna Television and SM Alauddin of UNB and daily Nayadiganta (office secretary).

The general members elected are: Anowarul Haque (Daily Ittefaq), Muhammad Mohiuddin (The News Today), Mostafa Satez (Daily Ichhamoti), MG Biplob Chowdhury (Editor/Morning Sun and Pabnar Khabar), Murshed Subhani (Daily Inqilab), Ebadat Ali (writer & journalist) and Ahmedul Haque Rana ( Kaler Kantha).
