Two-day agri tech fair begins in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Mar 05: A two-day Agriculture Technology Fair-2018 begins on the premises of Gopalganj Sadar upazila council office on Monday.

The Department of Agriculture Extension, Gopalganj Sadar, organised the fair. Small Farmers for Agriculture Helping Project of South-West Region, Bangladesh, is the fund provider. A total of 14 stalls have been set up in the fair which will conclude on Tuesday.

Sk Lutfar Rahman Bachchu, chairman of Gopalganj Sadar, and Samir Kumar Goshwami, deputy director (Agriculture), Gopalganj attended the event as the chief and special guest respectively.

Sammi Akter, upazila nirbahi officer (UNO), Gopalganj Sadar, presided over the fair.
