Two-day job fair begins at RU on Wednesday

RAJSHAHI, Feb 25: A two-day job fair will begin on the Rajshahi University (RU) campus on February 28.

RU Career Club (RUCC) is organising the fair.

In this connection, a press conference was held recently where RUCC president Aminur Rahman Shakil was present. He informed that some 26 renowned companies will participate in the fair.

RU pro-VC Ananda Kumar Saha is expected to inaugurate the fair at 9:00am.

Mr Shakil said a total of 11 seminars will be held in the fair. Senior officials and human resource experts of different organisations will address the seminars. Job seekers will be able to interact with the officials directly and prepare themselves according to their suggestion.

RUCC advisor and general secretary of Bangladesh University Teachers' Association (BUTA) Prof Shah Azam Shantonu was present at the press conference, among others.

RUCC president said IPDC Finance Limited and AFC Finance are the title and co-sponsor of the fair respectively. Besides, The Financial Express, Bonik Barta and Daily Kalerkantha are the media partners.

Graduates will get the opportunity to drop their CVs during the fair.
