Two traders die in Jashore road accident

JASHORE, May 29 (BSS): Two mango traders were killed and seven others injured as a bus rammed a human hauler on the Jashore-Benapole Highway in Shyamlagachi area of Sharsha upazila on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Jahidul Islam, 27, son of Faruq Hossain and Ziarul Islam, 34, son of Nurali Sarder, residents of Kumori area of the upazila.

Police said the accident occurred in the area when a Dhaka-bound bus hit the human hauler (locally named as Nasiman), leaving two passengers of the vehicle dead on the spot and injured seven others.

A group of mango traders was going to Sharsha for collecting mangos. The injured were sent to the upazila health complex.
