Challenges faced by digital entrepreneurs
July 09, 2019 00:00:00
Now-a-days new kinds of businesses are emerging based on new and innovative ideas. By applying such ideas, entrepreneurs are initiating businesses that are performing well and contributing to the growth of the economy.
But online and app-based businesses are creating problems from legal perspective. As there is no law and regulation specifically for online and app-based businesses, most inefficient online businesses are operating the way they want. This is causing sufferings for consumers and buyers. But as online businesses are not liable legally, customers and buyers cannot take any actions against them.
But, as has been the case, these businesses are not being punished for their unethical practices. If this situation continues, a time will soon come when consumers will lose interest in e-commerce and related sectors. This will affect entrepreneurs who want to provide genuine services to consumers.
The authorities concerned should consider this situation. They should come up with laws and regulations that will help consumers buy products and services online and also encourage honest and efficient online entrepreneurs.
