Delinquency in Bangladesh
August 25, 2019 00:00:00
Certain crimes committed by adolescents have been a problem for the country. Some juveniles are being motivated to engage in criminal activities. The word "GANG" is heard here and there today. From cities to rural Bangladesh, as people say, the teenage gangs are being formed and they are using sharp weapons during quarrels.
In fact, they are backed by criminal-like adult people who want to use the innocent boys in terrorist activities. The teenagers, too, join the seniors in committing crimes to attain power, money and 'heroism'. At one stage, they get engaged in snatching, robbery, extortion and even murder. They start taking drugs before turning into peddlers. Thus, our society is heading for dangerous consequences. Family and surrounding atmosphere are responsible for making some juveniles 'gangsters'. So, we should immediately start counselling them to bring back to peaceful life. Of course, their parents have to pay higher attention to their development.
