Engaging youth in social development

October 31, 2018 00:00:00

As a developing country, Bangladesh now faces social problems like corruption, pollution, water logging, stalking of women, security of women in workforce and transportation and so on. Youth can play an active role to solve such problems.

Parents, teachers and peers have important roles to play in order to ensure this in the long run. The first step would be to create awareness among children about their social responsibilities. Then, the part of engaging them in social movements would come by. As they grow up to become teenagers and then adults, it would become natural for these children to do their bit whenever they come across any social issue. As such, almost every citizen can play a role in ensuring the future prosperity of the nation.
