Everyday is a mother's day

MAY 13 is celebrated in many countries of the world including Bangladesh as the "Mother's day". In the United States, Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. In most Arab countries, Mother's Day is always celebrated on March 21, which is the Spring equinox. In the United Kingdom and Ireland, Mother's Day is celebrated on the fourth Sunday of May.

I personally think that everyday is a mothers' day as all of us are so deeply indebted to our respective mothers that we can never think of repaying the debt. Mothers sacrifice most in bringing up and providing comfort for their children. They spend most of their time to ensure children's well-being. Sadly there are quite a few who abandon their parents willfully. They may at best be termed as unfortunate as they leave the most valuable treasure of their life behind. One cannot claim himself/herself to be civilised despite being well-educated and having high profile jobs, if he/she fails to acknowledge the sacrifices made by mother. Many do not take care of their parents and look upon them as burdens when they are old and lead an isolated life. Mother's day is a reminder for them to look after their parents at all times. The day symbolises the love and respect of children for their mothers.
