Fake toiletry products threaten health

Many unscrupulous individuals are making counterfeit toiletry and cosmetic products, which are being sold in the local market. These products can cause serious health hazards for users causing skin diseases and other ailments.

Beside this, genuine business-people are losing their business and the government is being deprived of revenue. The manufacturers of these counterfeit items illegally use the brand names and designs of popular international products to dupe unsuspecting customers. Such fake products are mostly sold in rural areas as rural consumers are less conscious than urban people.

The law enforcing agencies need to arrest producers and sellers of such products. Only tough and swift steps from law enforcing agencies can drive away such fake products from the local and rural markets.
