Genesis of NZ mosque attacks

This refers to the Financial Express editorial on March 17 "Genesis of NZ mosque attacks". The editorial mentions the attacker's 74-page manifesto -- reflecting his anti-immigrant and racial sentiment-- that he posted online before he attacked on devotees of two mosques in New Zealand.

It is evident no country is safe and so measures need to be taken everywhere to stop terror attacks.

Many of the suggestions made after each past terror strike have not been implemented. Intelligence agencies must be restructured and properly equipped. Police vigilance needs to be intensified to ensure efficient exchange of information as well as better monitoring of the terrorists' movements. It is our duty to be together and fight against the curse. Then only can we emancipate humanity from the nexus of terror and crime.

The whole world must be united to curb menace against humanity. Time has come that all public gathering places all over the world had high security measures. Also there should be a ban on entry of fire arms and ammunition. Special attention to in-house staff is also crucial.

Global powers should come under one umbrella to demolish the terrorist network. Let us stand against hatred, and spread love and peace.
