Internet: A tool for improved life

BY now the world owes much to internet technology for the immense benefit it has given to the education sector. When internet was first invented one could hardly imagine that it would influence the world so rapidly and become the ultimate platform for information and knowledge. The internet has opened the floodgates for a hitherto unknown world of information and is greatly helping the teachers and learners alike. We can now have any information we want with just a click of the mouse and that too in a matter of few seconds sitting in any part of the globe. We are able to study with the help of the internet which is called online learning. Today with the help of the computer and the internet, we can download books, music, movies and communicate with people who live far away from us, pay utility bills, transfer money and perform many other necessary jobs from the comfort of our homes. We can even shop and do a plethora of things thanks to the amazing power of the internet. I am sure soon e-learning will become the standard method of education in the world as the idea is no longer unrealistic.
