Online food delivery sector

In today's age of fast food and take-out options, many restaurants have chosen to focus on quick preparation and speedy delivery of orders rather than to offer a rich dining experience. Until very recently, all of these delivery orders were placed over the phone. But there are many disadvantages to this system. This includes the lack of a hard copy of the menu for a customer, lack of a visual confirmation that the order was placed correctly, and the necessity for the restaurant to have an employee answering the phone and taking orders.
Some companies like Foodpanda, Pathao and Shohoz are providing these services now. Many people do not have the time to go to a restaurant for a meal or cook a meal for themselves. These are the customer segments for the online food delivery providers. As economic activities are increasing thanks to such providers, the government should take some steps to encourage the efforts of these companies.
