Ramadan and severe traffic jam

SEVERE traffic congestion during Ramadan is not quite different from rest of the year. But it is more painful for people who are fasting. The other day as I was travelling along Gulshan Avenue I found many private cars were parked on both sides and the road was reduced to nearly half its width. I hope the traffic department will strictly enforce traffic laws particularly laws against illegal parking to ease the situation. The government should also discourage people to buy private cars and expand its network of public transport services.
