Showing honour to village teachers' demand

THE village teachers should be given higher priority than their urban counterparts for their relentless struggle to make rural students worthy citizens of the country despite many limitations as total advancement in education or universality of education depends on the degree of progress achieved in the most deprived areas, that is the rural areas. But it is unfortunate that continuous hunger strike of village school and madrasha teachers demanding MPO for them has failed to produce any result so far. We hope that the government will accept their demand and facilitate the process of universal education.
