Summer tips for healthcare
September 03, 2019 00:00:00
As we are experiencing scorching heat in humid conditions during summer and monsoon seasons this year, we need to take extra care to remain fit and healthy. Would you mind avoiding foods prepared outside that are fried as well as oily and rich foods like biryani and pulao? Even for feeling better, we should eat vegetables, daal and light foods that are easy to digest. Drinking green tea or lemon tea is preferable. We should wear light and comfortable clothes so that we don't feel suffocated. In Dhaka, children and elderly people should avoid direct sunlight that involves risk of heatstroke. The commuters should carry a jar or bottle of water so that we can replenish the water we lose due to excessive heat and sweat.
