BGB seize Tk 3.0m gold ornaments, 75 ostrich chicks

The members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have seized gold ornaments worth about Tk 3.0 million and 75 ostrich chicks in two separate operations in Satkhira. The operations were conducted in Kushkhali Upazila and Padmo Shakhra Upazila's border areas early on Saturday, said Sarker Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, commanding officer of BGB-33 battalion. However, the BGB team did not arrest anyone. At least 11 lockets, 11 pair of nose-pins and 77 rings were found in the Kushkhali border area.
