Dr Kamal writes to Hasina, demands dialogue on polls

The Jatiya Oikya Front has written to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, calling for talks on the alliance's seven-point charter of demand for the general elections to be fair, reports bdnews24.com.

Front leaders AOM Shafiqullah and Jaglul Haider Afrik handed their chief Dr Kamal Hossain's letter to Awami League Office Secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap at the ruling party chief's Dhanmondi office on Sunday.

The Front announced the demands and 11 goals for the country to overcome the "current political crisis", Dr Kamal, who also heads the Gono Forum, said in the letter.
