Hajj flights start today

This year's Hajj flights will start carrying pilgrims to Saudi Arabia today (Thursday) and continue until August 5. The 1st Jeddah-bound Biman flight BG3001 will leave Shahjalal International Airport at 7:15 am, 2nd BG3101 at 11:15, 3rd BG3201 at 3:15 pm, 4th flight BG3301 at 7:15 pm.

Dhaka-Benapole direct train from July 25

BENAPOLE, July 3 (UNB): A direct train service from Dhaka to Benapole will be launched on July 25 next. The service will facilitate the travel of India-bound people through Benapole Checkpost, said Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan. He said the fare for a cabin seat will be Tk 1,200 and that of an AC chair Tk 1,000 and non-AC chair Tk 500. — UNB
