Two more die in Mymensingh anti-drug raid

Two more people were killed in an anti-narcotics raid in Mymensingh. A shootout took place early on Tuesday with law enforcers in the district's Kalibari area, said Ashiqur Rahman, chief of Detective Branch of district police. The dead were identified as 30-year-old Md Rony, son of Mamun Miah hailing from the Kristopur area, and 38-year-old Anwar Hossain Anar, son of Siraj Ali from the Bansbari colony area. — bdnews24.com

JS budget session adjourned until June 18

The ongoing budget session of the Jatiya Sangsad was adjourned on Tuesday until 3.00pm on June 18 due to Eid-ul Fitr. Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah, who was in the chair, announced the adjournment decision in the afternoon. The budget session began on June 05 and it will continue until July 12. — UNB
