Road crashes kill 37

A total of 37 people were killed and 38 others were injured in separate road accidents across the country over the past four days since Friday, the day before Eid, reports UNB.

On Monday, a total of 14 people were killed and 23 were injured in Nilphamari, Jhenidah and Magura districts.

In Nilphamari, at least 11 people were killed and 18 others injured when a bus hit a pick-up van at Dhalagach in the Syedpur-Bypass area of Syedpur upazila on Sunday night.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
