CEC to announce election schedule today

Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda will address the nation this (Thursday) evening to announce the schedule for the 11th parliamentary election, reports bdnews24.com.

Huda's speech will be broadcast simultaneously on Bangladesh Television and Radio at 7pm, EC Director SM Asaduzzaman said.

Before the CEC's speech to the nation, the commission will meet at 11am on Thursday.

"We have made preparations to record the CEC's speech on Thursday morning. We have received instructions about this. We have the preparations to broadcast his speech at 7pm," Director General of Bangladesh Television SM Harun-ur Rashid said.
