LTU develops app to facilitate businesses

Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) under Value Added Tax (VAT) wing has developed a mobile application to ensure transparency and better serve the businesses.

The app is furnished with details of the unit, including revenue performance, manpower, VAT deposit codes, mission, vision, contact number of its officials and the enlisted businesses.

Names, addresses and contact numbers of the LTU-listed businesses are readily available on the app.

Anyone can have access to the app to stay connected with the unit.

Taxpayers can make their suggestions and give opinions through the app.

Contact addresses and telephone numbers of all the divisions and circles of LTU and VAT law and rules can also abe found.

Talking to the FE, LTU-VAT commissioner Md Matiur Rahman said the app will make activities of the unit transparent to the people.

LTU has developed the app with its own fund to facilitate its VAT-paying businesses, he said.
