Phone, internet to remain shut in Motijheel June 08-11

The land phone and internet line will remain shut in the Motijheel area from June 08 to 11 due to underground cable relocation by Bangladesh Telecommuni-cations Company Limited (BTCL) for Metro Rail Project, reports UNB.

The Bangladesh telecom authority confirmed the matter in a press release on Monday.

BTCL also said their telephone services also remained off from June 01-04 for the underground work at Motijheel.

BTCL was transferring their cables due to the ongoing construction work of metro rail project in the Motijheel area.
