Writ seeks stay on Menon's oath-taking

A writ petition was filed with the High Court on Tuesday seeking its directives to the authorities concerned not to publish gazette and administer oath to Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon who won Sunday's election from Dhaka-8 constituency, reports UNB.

Eunus Ali Akondo, a Supreme Court lawyer and also the Jatiya Party candidate for the parliamentary seat, filed the writ petition.
