Winners of second round audition of knowledge-based reality show titled "Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid" from Khulna division posing for photograph at the Government Coronation Secondary Girls' School in Khulna on Friday. The second phase audition of knowledge-based reality show titled "Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid" with the patronage of Channel- i was held at the Government Coronation Secondary Girls' School in Khulna on Friday last.
Ten contestants among the 1000 participants of Khulna division were selected to take part in the final round in Dhaka, says a press release.
Ispahani Group, one of the leading business conglomerates in the country, is the sponsor of the show, where students participated after undergoing different tests, including Bangla spelling, pronunciation and the correct use of grammar-at divisional levels. The selection started at 9 am in the city. The judges were Moumita Roy (assistant professor) of Khulna University, Abul Fajal and veteran recitation artiste Mahidul Islam.
Later, prizes were handed over to the winners by Md. Aminul Huq, Deputy Commissioner, Khulna and Jesmin Akhter, Assistant headmaster of Govt Coronation Secondary Girls' School.
The students of class VI-X participated in the contest after undergoing different tests of 40 marks including Bangla spelling, pronunciation and the correct use of grammar.
The topper will get a talent scholarship of Tk 1 million, and the first and second runners-up will get Tk 0.3m and Tk 0.2m respectively. In addition, 10 other winners will receive a laptop each and books worth around Tk 50,000, and bookshelves to create personal libraries.
