53 to contest for each seat in CoU admission test

COMILLA, Feb 20 (UNB): As many as 53 students will vie for one seat in the first year honours admission test of the Comilla University (CoU) under the academic session of 2017-18.

The university authorities have sold 54,809 application forms against 1,040 seats under six faculties, said university registrar and admission test committee Member Secretary Md Mojibur Rahman Majumder.

A total of 23,625 students have applied for 350 seats under 'A' unit (science and engineering faculties), 19,372 for 450 seats under 'B' unit (arts, social science and law faculties), 11,812 for 240 seats under 'C' unit (business studies), he added.

As per the schedule, the admission tests for 'A' and 'B' units will be held on February 23 (Friday) and 'C' unit on February 24 (Saturday).
