Army chief calls on UAE chief of armed forces

Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed Tuesday paid a courtesy call on the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) Chief of Staff of Armed Forces Lt Gen Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi in UAE, reports BSS.

During the meeting, they exchanged greetings and discussed the existing friendly relations between the two countries' army personnel, said an ISPR press release in Dhaka.

Besides, General Aziz Ahmed visited Al-Hamra Combat Training Centre.

He also paid a courtesy call on UAE's Land Forces Commander Maj Gen Saleh Mohammad Saleh Megren Al-Ameri and visited Land Forces Institute on Monday.

The Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh is scheduled to return home today (Wednesday).
