British Council Country Director meets DU VC

British Council Country Director, Bangladesh Barbara Wickham called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman at the latter's office on the campus in the city on Sunday, reports BSS.

She was accompanied by some other high officials of British Council, a DU press release said.

During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic, research as well as skill development programmes that are being conducted by the DU and British Council.

They also discussed about undertaking more new academic programmes including English teaching and learning method, citizenship education and community engagement programmes for DU students under the joint auspices of Dhaka University and British Council.
