Computer Council wins int'l award for innovation

Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) has won 'Open Group President Awards-2018' for innovation in developing Bangladesh National Enterprise Architecture (BNEA) that will make government information and services interoperable, reports UNB.

Open Group, a global consortium, on Thursday conferred the award on the BCC in government enterprise architecture category at a function in Bangalore, India, said a media release in Dhaka on Saturday.

Indian Minister for Law and Justice, Electronics and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad handed over the award to Project Director of Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance (LICT) of BCC Md Rezaul Karim at Leela Palace in Bangalore.
