Couple critically burnt as AC blasts at Uttara

A couple sustained severe burn injuries after an air-conditioner exploded at their home in the city's Uttara early Tuesday, reports UNB.
Police sources named the victims as Alamgir Bhuiyan, 50, and his wife Bilkis Baby, 40.
"Alamgir and Bilkis suffered burns on 95 per cent of their bodies in the explosion that took place around 3am," said Inspector Bachchu Mia of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp.
