Court rejects DIG Partha's bail plea

A Dhaka court scrapped on Sunday bail plea filed by Deputy Inspector General (prisons) Partha Gopal Bonik in a graft case, reports BSS.

Partha's lawyer Kamrul Islam pleaded for his bail. Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) lawyer Mosharraf Hossain Kazal, however, opposed the plea.

After hearing both the sides, Dhaka Metropolitan Session Judge KM Imrul Qayesh passed the order, scrapping bail plea of the accused.
