Customs arrest man with foreign currencies at HSIA

Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) officials arrested a man along with large amount of foreign currencies worth Tk 15,86,200 in the city's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) early Saturday, reports UNB.
Kamrul Islam, a resident of Sadar Upazila in Munshiganj, was arrested before boarding a flight of Malaysian Airlines.
Tipped off, the CIID team was monitoring Kamrul's movement after he completed his immigration formalities.
