April 02, 2019 00:00:00

Education Minister Dipu Moni has urged students and guardians to ignore the rumours as the government took "stringent measures" to prevent question leaks in the ongoing higher secondary exams (HSC), reports bdnews24.com.

The minister spoke to journalists on Monday, the first day of the HSC exam following a visit to the centre at Siddheswari Girls College in the city.

"I urge the examinees and their guardians not you pay heed to any rumour - not to run into any fraudulence. I believe the question paper won't leak, by the grace of Allah, and the exam will be held properly."

Law-enforcement agencies are 'quite active' to prevent the rumours about question leaks prior to the exam, the minister said.
