Dr Zafar Iqbal returns to SUST today

SYLHET, Mar 13 (UNB): Dr Muhammed Zafar Iqbal, who has been undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka after sustaining serious injuries in a knife attack, will return to the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) campus today (Wednesday).

Muhammad Joynal Abedin, personal assistant of Dr Zafar Iqbal, said on Tuesday the eminent writer will return to Sylhet by a Novoair flight which is scheduled to leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12:00 noon.

The SUST students are ready to welcome their teacher at the Mukta Mancha where he came under the attack, said Saiful Islam, assistant professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department of the university.
