Drug addict son assaults mother

RAJSHAHI, Jan 15 (UNB): A woman was beaten up and injured by his drug addicted son at Daukandi Parila village of Durgapur upazila on Sunday.

The injured woman was Monjuara Begum, 50.

Monjuara's another son Mithun Ali said that his elder brother Mahabur Rahman, who is drug addicted, used to torture his parents over money.

Mahabur beat up his mother again on Sunday morning for money, said Mithun.
