DU affiliated colleges’ online admission process begins today

The online application process for admission into first year honours courses of seven colleges affiliated with the Dhaka University (DU) under the 2018-19 academic session will begin today (Tuesday), report agencies.

DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman will inaugurate the admission process at Abdul Matin Virtual Classroom on the campus at 12:30pm, said a DU press release.

Students can apply for the science, business and art and social science units till October 25.

The seven DU affiliated colleges are -Dhaka College, Eden Mohila College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Mohila College, Mirpur Government Bangla College and Government Titumir College.

The admission seekers are asked to visit the website (http://7college.du.ac.bd/) for detailed information, added the release.

Meanwhile, the results of the 'Kha' unit admission test for first year honours courses of Dhaka University (DU) under academic session 2018-2019 will be published today (Tuesday).

DU Vice-chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman will formally announce the results at 1.00 pm at the central admission office at the administrative building in the city, said a press release on Monday.

The entry test of the 'Kha' unit was held on Friday where a total of 35,726 students applied against 2,383 seats.

A total of 272,512 admission seekers have applied for undergraduate courses against 7,128 seats under five units in 2018-19 academic session at DU.
