Former Navy chief Rear Admiral M H Khan passes away

Former Navy chief Rear Admiral Musharraf Hussain Khan died of old age complications at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Saturday, reports BSS.

He was 87, said an ISPR press release.

Musharraf Hussain Khan served as the chief of the Bangladesh Navy (BN) from November 7, 1973 to November 3, 1979, it added.

The namaz-e-janaza of the deceased would be held after Zohr prayers on Monday at BNS Haji Mohsin in Dhaka Cantonment.
