HSC examinee 'commits suicide'

DINAJPUR, July 17 (UNB): An examinee allegedly committed suicide jumping in front of a running train on Wednesday noon for failing in this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations.

The deceased was identified as Nakul Kumar, 18, son of Akil Chandra Sarkar of Ananda Bazar in Parbatipur Upazila. Nakul appeared in the examinations from Bhawanipur College.

Israfil Islam, assistant station master of Phulbari Railway Station, said Nakul jumped in front of Dhaka-bound 'Lalmoni Express' train at noon and died on the spot.
