Joynal made PIO

Joynal Abedin, an information cadre officer of BCS '84 batch, has been appointed as the Principal Information Officer (PIO) to the Press Information Department (PID), reports BSS.

The Ministry of Information on Monday issued a notification in this regard, a PID handout said.

Previously, Joynal served as the Press Secretary to President Md Abdul Hamid.

During his long career, he served in different capacities. He was additional chief information officer of PID and the director (public relations) of the Jatiya Sangsad secretariat.
