Khaleda condoles Justice Sirajul Islam\\\'s death

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Sunday expressed profound shock at the death of former Justice and Law Commission member M Sirajul Islam. Sirajul Islam, also the youngest brother of former finance minister and BNP standing committee member M Saifur Rahman, died on Saturday night. In a condolence message, the BNP chief said Sirajul Islam as a legal expert and justice had worked sincerely for upholding the image and dignity of the judiciary. ‘As a justice he was a revered person to all quarters… His chequered professional career was devoted towards ensuring justice and doing people’s welfare,” she added. Khaleda conveyed her sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. In another condolence message, BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also condoled Sirajul Islam’s death, according to a news agency.
