Land minister asks officials to finish annual works in time

Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sherif directed on Monday the officials of his ministry to complete their annual targeted works within the time frame set to implement the 'Vision 2021'.

"Everyone will have to finish their annual tasks before the deadline to implement the government's Vision 2021," he said after signing of an annual performance agreement (APA) between the Ministry of Land (MoL) and its different departments and organisations at the ministry.

Land secretary Abdul Jalil and heads of the departments and organisations under the ministry singed the APA on behalf of their respective sides.

The minister asked the officials concerned of the departments and organisations to complete their assigned works with utmost sincerity and transparency imbued with sense of responsibility.

He also laid emphasis on institutional capacity building and proper utilisation of resources.
