Madrasa teacher held for 'sexual-assault' on student

NARAYANGANJ, July 30 (UNB): Police have detained a madrasa teacher in Fatulla of the city for reportedly trying to sexually assault a student.
The detainee is Nizam Uddin, 25, a teacher of Ramarbagh Hafizia Madrasa.
The victim's mother said Nizam tried to commit sexual assault on the boy, 12, on Saturday and Sunday when he was asleep at night. He disclosed the matter to his mother when she went to visit him on Monday.
